Odyssey House is a fantastic program that cares above all else about your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. I have been given the opportunity to assist several facilities across the nation over the last 6 years and Odyssey House stands with the best of them in several facets of programming. They are the most affordable facility I have ever come across. They have a program for everyone. Whether you are a parent seeking treatment for your adolescent, for yourself or loved one as an adult, or if you are a parent with children, they have a wide variety of placement options. Odyssey House truly cares, it is evident by their diligence to work with people seeking treatment in regards to any and all concerns that are creating ambivalence to beginning the healing process. They will work with you financially, which I find to be refreshing. They specialize in reintegration into society due to consequences during active addiction. Odyssey House assists in stabilization, implementation of skills to maintain sobriety, developing a strong support network, guidance for decreasing psychosocial stressors, and identify the underlying core cause to why you or your loved one utilizes substances to cope. By identifying the precipitant to substance use they are able to provide a foundation for success. If you or your loved one admit to Odyssey House my advice would be to practice open-mindedness, acceptance, motivation, and patience. People are in the throws of addiction for years more often than not, so please go in with realistic expectations that it will take hard work and trust in the staff. Odyssey House saves lives and I admire their program for doing so.

Odyssey House of Utah will forever have a place in my Heart. I grew up there, it's home. I made a choice to leave before I could build a support circle. Today I'm getting help from yet another relapse. I'm feeling much healthier & will continue my voyage back into recovery. I left a debt and broken hearts I'm sure. I learned to "be about it", meaning "do it". Go there if in need of structure and see HOPE in front of you. PEACE & LOVE.

I gave this provider an exhuberant high-five. A very successful program where clients do get on the straighten path. I'm in treatment for mental health which is also about resiliance, rehabilitation, recovery and rediscovery. Definetly, a place of healing. Where the word "Odyssey" and the sound of it is enough to get me inspired to be better and to make to today better than yesterday. Odyssey House used to be mainly a detox treatment facility but has expanded to the mental health curriculum. I really appreciate how Odyssey House has been part of my life experience. Odyssey House has really made a positive impact on my journey to rediscovery; as a direct result, I've been making leaps and bounds. Odyessey House has given me a sense of purpose and direction and I've received the level of care I desserved. The groups are very helpful and supportive. I also have fun participating in the recreational activities which gives me something to look forward to. The staff have always been respectful and considerate and very professional. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Odyssey really lives up to its meaning: "A long journey that's full of adventures." Odysseys' motto: We Are Recovery. Words to live by. You're awesome. ROCK ON!!! (I even named my new pet Odyssey).

I went to odyssey house June 2012. I started at the adult house thinking my Sinn was going to join me there. It did not happen. I was transferred to the adult house . There was a guy there that was the main counselor there and he was a jerk said I was harassing the counselor there. Um yeah right. All i wanted to do was go to out patient. I wanted to get my son back. I was told by that man if I left he guaranteed that I would not last a hour til I got high again. Well I never ever went back to drugs and I have been clean for 4 years now and going strong. I am a determined person and even I want something in life i will work my hardest to get it. I do not need anyone to hold me back. I never got anything out of oh and never graduated their program. Wish they would have done better and tried to help me with the direction in life I needed to go.

Odyssey House saved mine and my kids lives. It created a strong, powerful, self sufficient woman. My whole life was a mess. I came to Odyssey House a broken woman with no self esteem. A woman who was strung out on Meth and was extremely depressed and at rock bottom on the verge of losing my kids. I have been clean and sober for almost 8 years now. I learned how to stand on my own two feet. I graduated High school. I learned how to be a good mom for two children with their own special needs. I have learned to hold my head up high and never look back. I have received so many blessings in life and I owe it all to the hard work and dedication that not only the staff had for me but for all of the work I put in. Not a day goes by that I do not look at myself and say wow Look what I did. Look at where I came from and where I am now. Sobriety has given me so much to look forward to. Little by little my pieces are coming together and I know that I will be okay, Thank you Odyssey for everything. I love being an Odyssey Graduate. I love being a success. Thank you for giving me tho tools I needed to become Power Mama.

As a previous employee of odyssey house I can seriously say this place helps people who want the help! yes there are people there that are just getting out of prison, and that's part of what odyssey is there to help with. reintroduction to society is a hard thing to do and odyssey house helps with that is so many ways. They have vocational work that I believe is really good for someone in addiction recovery, and they help teach skills of how to deal with others that you couldn't match with any program! I worked there for only a few months but the experience was great! if your looking for a job in addiction recovery odyssey house is a good place to start, all the staff are very helpful and the human resources manager is awesome! Everyone is extremely busy but the house is a fun and exciting place to work it really has some character! I was in the program when I was younger but in the adolescent program and it really changed my life! Thank you odyssey for a job and a change in my perspective on life! Shout out to Jessica C! She's the nicest woman there hands down!!
